While I'm putting the final touches on the L Family’s gallery, I couldn’t wait to share a little sneak peek into their beautiful fall photo session! From the moment they arrived, I had a feeling it was going to be one of those magical evenings where everything simply clicks—the light, the colors, the connection.

🍂 A Perfect Fall Evening

We met at Culpepper Landing in Chesapeake, VA, one of my favorite local spots for fall sessions. With its golden trees, quiet paths, and peaceful ponds, it’s the perfect backdrop for capturing warm, natural moments.

The L Family arrived looking effortlessly coordinated in soft tones of green, neutrals, and blush pink—a color palette that complemented the autumn scenery beautifully. But more than their outfits, they came with open hearts and a willingness to be present—and that’s what made this session so special.

As always, we started with a few classic portraits—everyone looking at the camera and smiling. But the real magic happened in the in-between moments: spontaneous laughter, playful running, and those quiet snuggles.
