☀️ Fall Sunshine & Sweet Moments: A Family Session with Two Little Adventurers

Some fall sessions bring that crisp breeze and sweater weather... and others? Well, they surprise you with summer temperatures in October. This session definitely fell into the hot fall category—but you’d never know it from the smiles and sunshine we captured!

I had the joy of photographing Family H and their two adorable boys, and despite the warm weather, the love and laughter between them brought a kind of glow that no golden hour could compete with.

🌿 A Warm Autumn Afternoon

We met in afternoon, when the light was starting to become soft and golden, wrapping everything in a warm glow. The trees hinted at fall—just starting to turn, with warm amber and gold peeking through the greens. It may have felt like summer, but it is starting to look like fall, and the setting was absolutely perfect.

The family showed up in beautifully coordinated outfits—light neutrals and soft earthy tones that popped against the natural backdrop. The boys were full of energy and ready to explore, play, and give us those real, unscripted moments that make family sessions so meaningful.

Two Boys, Endless Joy

There’s something extra special about capturing brothers. The curiosity and the cuddles—it’s all part of the story. These two have lots of personality: running through the grass to sneak up on mom and dad, asking to get tossed in the air and of course a few hugs and kisses.

What I love most about photographing young families is how real the moments are. No need for perfect poses when you have genuine connection, belly laughs, and spontaneous adventures.
